Our mission is to create captivating and thought-provoking performances using movement that serve as a mirror to the world.
Mirror Movement Company takes huge world events, both current and historic, and translates them into a movement piece. Movement allows us to express thoughts and feelings that cannot be expressed through words alone. Furthermore we aim to demonstrate major events through movement that aren't covered enough in the media to spread awareness.

THE PERFORMANCE
We are embarking on a unique and thought-provoking journey to bring awareness to the collective experiences of the global pandemic through the art of dance. We will be focusing specifically on the UK and Swedish governments vastly different responses to the global pandemic. We choose these 2 countries because 3 of our company are from the UK and 1 of our company is from Sweden, so we will be using their first hand experiences during the pandemic and highlighting how each government handled the pandemic differently. We will be using real-life news reports from both Sweden and the UK as well as other countries, but our main focus will be on those two.
